Medical Qigong brings with it a power and effectiveness honed by a broad understanding of the many states of qi and how it is transformed.

Recently, Sherman has focused his practice on developing tools for addressing the growing issue of stress in American society, its effects on the body, mind, emotions and spirit, particularly in women. While the negative affects of stressed have been around for a while, some symptoms, such as persistent headaches, diffuculty getting to sleep, frequent nervous breakdowns, and an inability to regain control over thinking, are becoming so common as to approach a pandemic. Many of Sherman's patients have been women who, in trying to balance work in a male dynanic dominated workplace with what women are typically expecting of themselves in the rest of their lives, are experiencing system breakdowns of various kinds. Sherman an adult with Attention Deficit Disorder, a disorder he's had all his life, and has particular empathy with this kind of nervous system overload in others.

His work in this area brings mental calm, physical grounding, a peaceful heart, a sense of saftey and ease and even a return of hope to his patient's outlook. With regular work, his patients have lightened their load and been able to address the entropy that had been engulfing their lives.

Jacob Chinn is a Medical Qigong Practitioner and Massage Therapist operating out of Concord, California where he lives with is wife and one-year-old son. Chinn works with clients in the Bay Area and around the U.S. Jacob continues to study both Chinese Medicine and Massage Therapy in pursuit of a Master of Sciences Jacob Chinn Photo and his son Lucas

degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and to ultimately be recognized by the State with a license to practice Acupuncture.

Recently, Chinn has been specializing his sessions in Tui Na Chinese Massage powered or charged with Medical Qigong for a highly effective 1-hour healing session. His methods are particularly effective with neuro-muscular issues, such as back ache, shoulder pain, pinched nerves and general sports injuries, but with the Medical Qigong component, the healing also pierces deeply into the body for work on organ systems and into the personal energy field to address emotional and mental disorders.
